Owls' Class Amusing Idioms

In literacy we have been learning about Idioms. Idioms are sayings that are not supposed to be taken literally. Here is  an example:

It's raining cats and dogs

We had some fun by taking them literally in our writing.

I went outside for a spot of gardening
But killed two birds with one stone instead
( Unfortunately a Bobby/policeman was near by nena nena)

By SF. Year 4

I went to buy a jumpsuit
It cost me an arm and a leg
(Now I can't even wear it)

By GP. Year.4

Thank you for reading our Idioms make us laugh and write some of your own in the comments below.
Give us a rating out of five for our Idioms!
