Christmas dress up day

Today  school council are doing their next challenge for the houses Knights and Dragons that is a Christmas dress up competition. The child that comes 1st will get 100 points for their house 2nd will get 50 points and 3rd will get 25 points.Mrs Nicholls will be judging since she isn't in any one of the houses.

This morning we have been exploring different versions of the Christmas Story and partaking in Hot seating.

This afternoon all the academy made Christingles together.

This week we are learning about subtraction

The Collection

Today we made a Celtic shield.We drew wild Boars on our shields. We also made a roundhouse out of paper.We made pots out of clay and we decorated them by pushing rope into the pot and using plastic knives to draw pictures and patterns.We did the big dig.The big dig is where you dig up things, like archaeologists.It was great fun! We found things from The Stone age,The Bronze age and The Iron age.By AM
